Home-school supporting group, the members start meeting, communication with school in regular period. Let parents and school have a strong communication relationship, moreover, we always collect parents’ opinions, so that we can improve and develop.

Early Childhood Parenting Programme (2023-2025 Parents education activities)

「Early Childhood Parenting Programme」is started WEMP Foundation in last year. to provide the training about teach child, and improve teach child skill, reduce parent’s pressure and let parents and child relationship be stronger. This program is very successful, include parent learning course 60hrs in whole year, it is to teach 4 theme, for example: , , and < Child playing is important>. Though the meeting, workshop group, can let parents learn different levels of teach child skill, pressure method, and improve parents-child relationship method.

Walk with parents

Le us learn together, grow up together, support eachother, and let "Come on" physically and mentally. Therefore, parents can good healthy feeling, and teach child together with school. The group activity include: Prayer meetings, Bible studies, games, thematic workshops, group sharing, group gatherings, individual support, etc.

Parent volunteers

Parent volunteers are very important in the development of our school, parents very helpful and support different school service. Include: Library volunteers, to help children borrow books. Supporter of outside learning activity, to take care child and work together when go out learning activity. In learning and teaching, parent volunteers are the teacher’s best partner, to help make education material and tools. Thank you God! Parents who are enthusiastic about serving, with a heart of selfless contribution, are willing to work with Tai Po Methodist Kindergarten’s children, so that children can grow up healthily and happily in the preschool stage.

Parent-Child Teaching Aids Lending Program Teaching aids are not categorized by levels; parents can allow children to choose freely. We hope that through various teaching aids, children can expand their learning interests and abilities through discovery, exploration, attempts, and challenges. Parents are welcome to borrow and return items during school hours. It is a self-service borrowing and returning system. You may borrow up to 2 items at a time, with each borrowing period lasting 7 days.

Parent-Child Reading: Language/Storybook Lending Program
Whole Language Philosophy Whole language is one of the philosophies of learning. By igniting children's interest in reading, we can enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Through fostering a love for reading, children will unknowingly increase their vocabulary and improve their language proficiency. Engaging in parent-child reading allows children to experience listening opportunities. They will come to understand that "the words in books differ from everyday speech," gradually accumulating vocabulary and written language skills. Lending Library Details: Location: The reading vehicle is located at the main entrance. Open Dates: On school days. Open Hours: During school hours. Borrowing Method: Self-borrowing and self-returning. Registration: Parents should record borrowing and returning details on the log sheet. Return Process: Please place returned books in the designated box for sanitization. Borrowing Rules: Borrowing Limit: One book at a time. Borrowing Duration: Each book can be borrowed for one week. We encourage reading! In addition to preschool materials, our reading vehicle also offers whole language books suitable for graduates. Interested parents can borrow additional books for older siblings, enhancing the reading environment at home and fostering a family culture of reading. Cherish the Resources, Share the Knowledge!
