Supportive group for parents 
 
Objective 

 

          The supportive group is established to achieve the following three objectives:

  • to give mental support to our parents;
  • to increase the understanding of parents to our school’s mission;
  • to strengthen the cooperation between our school and family in nurturing our kid

    There are 12 meetings for the supportive group throughout the academic year, we also provide child care services during the supportive group’s meeting so that parents can have the opportunities to participate into the supportive group and be more concentrated in the meeting.

From 9:20am to 11:20am on the first and the third Friday of every month

Joining Method

 

A circular about the supportive group for parents is distributed by our school to parents of our students in mid of September of every year, parents who are interested to join please show your preference on the circular and submit it to school. For any enquiry, please contact the pastoral worker of Tai Po Methodist Church, Ms Michelle Ng.

 

Content
Ice-break games, workshops with special topics, and group sharing are held during meeting of the supportive group. Moreover, lunch gathering, individual support, family outing, and festival celebration are held beyond regular meetings.
